Hi guys! So, when I click on my feedback or correspondence sections, they appear empty, even though I have messages to check in them. Is this happening to anyone else?

You may find out that since I've improved and finally obtained an artstyle that I like this year, most of the artworks in my gallery look old and outdated... Should I hide them, or ust leave them there for other people to see how can an artist progress? : x
Not that I'm an expert, I still have a long path to walk. But with the last ones (the only ones featured in my gallery) I think I'm finally on the good path (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Hi everyone! As you can see I've been ordering some stuff in my gallery. I've hidden or deleted some old artworks, but I've left most of them actually. I don't want to hide everything, I want anyone to be able to my progress through time. I've also created a Patreon site, which you can find here: www.patreon.com/user?u=3679564

Aside from that, I'd like to explain that in the future I'll be posting some journals in my own language, Spanish. The projects I have will be written in Spanish (although I'll have some English explanation for them), since it's my mother language I don't think I could convey the feelings or write the story properly in English or in any other language. This is mainly because English is not my first language, I even learnt it while I was in my teens and not when I was a child, so no matter how well I can write in this language, writing a complex story in another language seems to not be a good idea at all. But if you want to know about the stories or projects, I'll be happy to write at least a summary of them at some point. Thanks for understanding!

Oh and now I'm signing everything with my real name, Alexander Barbarán. My full name is José Alexander Carlos Barbarán, but that's too friggin' long for a signature! Blame my culture and not my parents! （⌒▽⌒ゞ

Why is it so hard to pick a username?

No, seriously! I don't like how my name "Alex Barbaran" sounds as a manga-style artist, so I've tried to choose and changed pen names for years now. I've gone through Taikun-J, BunnyHat-J, BarbaranAlex (which sounded weird for some reason too), and now that I finally feel happy with "barbarian-jk", it appears that JK is an abbreviation of Joshi Kōsei (High School Girl) in Japanese! I had even made a new Pixiv account called "barbarian-jk", aw man! (；´д｀)ゞ

Should I just leave it there or change again? I mean, I'm an otaku, but certainly not to the extreme to like to be called something like that... At least now I have 5 months to decide here in DA (You can change your name after 6 months have passed since the last change with a core account).

Until then, do you guys have any suggestions or ideas? Or should I just choose "Alex-Barbaran" or maybe even "alex-barbarian"? I think that last one may sound cool.

And since I can't change it for now, I'm thinking of giving Mina-chan some wild cosplay that will make her look like a mix between a medieval barbarian warrior girl... and a high school girl. Complete with a huge sword. And there you'd have it, she was the barbarian high school girl in the end... Hey! How does that sound? (☆▽☆)

If anyone has an idea I'll be very thankful, please don't hesitate to post it! I think I'll even make you a free drawing for you if I choose your suggestion, haha xD
